LizArt Studio / Punta Cana wedding photographer
As a wedding photographer myself based in New Jersey, I’ve worked hundreds of weddings and collaborated with countless photographers. So when it came time to choose someone for my own big day, I knew the stakes were high. I didn’t want to settle — not with so much talent out there. But from the moment I connected with Liz Art Photography, I knew I had found the right fit.
Choosing Liz and her team to capture our whimsical, pastel-colored wedding at Kukua Beach Club in Punta Cana was hands down one of the best decisions we made. Her editing style — dreamy, film-like, soft and full of emotion — first caught my eye. Then came her professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail, which sealed the deal.
We actually had the pleasure of meeting Liz early on during our engagement trip in January 2024, where we were still deciding on our venue. We did our engagement shoot at Macao Beach around golden hour — something I was really set on, even though Liz typically doesn’t do sunrise sessions. But she was incredibly flexible and met us right after sunrise to make my vision happen. That’s just who she is: accommodating, kind, and fully invested in her couples.
As someone who knows this industry inside and out, I didn’t make vendor decisions lightly. I even leaned on Liz for advice while planning and building our wedding timeline, and she was always generous and thoughtful with her feedback. She allowed me the space to shape our day while supporting me with her expertise.
On the day of the wedding, she didn’t just show up and shoot — she truly saved the day. I had a bad reaction to makeup that blurred my contacts, and Liz happened to have contact solution and eyedrops on hand. That small but thoughtful gesture meant everything. It allowed me to keep my focus — literally and emotionally — and enjoy my day.
Despite a few hiccups (like a dress malfunction that delayed our family photos), Liz and her team stayed calm, rolled with the changes, and made sure we still got everything we wanted. She nailed our shot list, stayed on schedule, and even brought a content creator to capture behind-the-scenes phone footage — which became a lifeline for me in the days after the wedding when I was missing that magical day so much.
The final product? Beyond anything we could have hoped for. We received sneak peeks within a month, and over 1,500 stunning images within three. The delivery took longer than what I’m used to in New Jersey, where seasons are more defined, but in the Caribbean, wedding season is year-round — and Liz made it absolutely worth the wait.
Our wedding video made us cry. The visuals, the emotion, the story — all beautifully and artistically captured. Our guests have not stopped raving about the photos and the warmth of her team.
Liz made us feel like royalty. Her images are not just beautiful — you can feel them. If you’re looking for a photographer who’s deeply talented, highly communicative, and puts her heart into every frame, Liz Art Photography is your person. I recommend her with all my heart — not just as a fellow photographer, but as a bride who’s eternally grateful.
